Thomas' other professional affiliations include the Women's Council of Realtors for which she acted as local chapter secretary and president and Business Network International for which she was a marketing coordinator. Thomas received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Mississippi College. In 2006, she was the recipient of the Excel Award from the Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors.
