MINNEAPOLIS, MN, September 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nancy Patterson, President of NP Consulting Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in marketing and sales management. With 22 years of professional experience, Ms. Patterson has been a leader in Product Management, Product Marketing, Channel Sales and Channel Marketing. Additionally, she has extensive experience in Channel Operations and Channel Program Development for several B2B companies.

Ms. Patterson began her career as Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager for manufacturers focused on data center solutions and networking products where she drove product launches and marketing campaigns for complex hardware and software solutions. She then moved into the data storage sector of the market, joining global corporation, Computer Network Technology (now Brocade Communications). There, as Alliance Marketing Manager, Ms. Patterson was responsible for marketing joint solutions with partners EMC, Hitachi Data Systems, and Engenio. Ms. Patterson moved on to hold senior Channel Programs and Marketing roles for Xiotech, managing substantial budgets and leading cross-functional teams to develop and launch an indirect sales channel in what had previously been a direct-only sales model.

Nancy Patterson has been instrumental in developing impactful VAR recruitment strategies and implementing efficiencies in channel operations for the companies she's served. In Sales, Nancy held a National Partner Manager position with global telecommunications company, Avaya, where she managed and supported regional and national VARs selling enterprise and mid-market solutions. Creating partnering strategies and managing the execution of annual partner revenue plans, training plans and marketing plans resulted in consistent growth year over year.
