Economist Jose Bacellar Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Jose Bacellar established Bacellar Venture Partners in 2010 at Toronto, Ontario

TORONTO, CANADA, June 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jose Bacellar, Economist, MsC in BA, Chief Executive Officer of Bacellar Venture Partners Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in marketing, corporate management strategy, restructuring and turnaround.

Jose Bacellar established Bacellar Venture Partners in 2010 at Toronto, Ontario, in an effort to develop business relationships between Canada and Brazil for venture capital and private equity purposes. He has had the privilege of receiving the proper training to solidify his superior business ethics as a McKinsey alumnus. As a business consultant, he was exposed to many strategically challenging projects, from conception to full deployment. At McKinsey & Company he had the opportunity to engage himself in different studies of turnaround and restructuring, and was able to successfully apply the training. After 2002, he created his own business consultancy and marketing research boutique - 2B Brasil. From 2003 to 2006, he was deeply immersed in virtually every aspect of one of its clients, Bombril S.A. - the company was under judicial administration and Bacellar got involved in the company salvage process, eventually becoming in 2004 a board member and Bombril´s CEO. It was a natural move to transform 2B Brasil from a management consulting and marketing research company into a turnaround and restructuring boutique after Bombril's extremely successful experience. Subsequently he accepted the chief executive officer position of Vetnil Company in 2007/8 and two other 'non-disclosure' projects in 2008/9. In 2008, Mr. Bacellar's wife, Dr. Clarita Bandeira Margarido moved to Toronto to work as an anesthesiologist practitioner and researcher at Mount Sinai Hospital of the University of Toronto. He decided to join her last year, and moved to Toronto also, and is now facing an incredible lifetime opportunity to establish himself in the great country of Canada. He attributes his success to his hard work, self-motivation, work ethics, formal education, training and corporate experience.

Mr. Bacellar received a Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Bacellar is a member of the CCA - Canadian Council for The Americas; The Toronto Board of Trade; and the CVCA - Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. In 2009, he received the Executive Master of Business Administration Award for Leadership from the Rotman School of Management, from the University of Toronto. Looking ahead, Mr. Bacellar hopes to re-establish himself in Canada and build Bacellar Venture Partner as a solid bridge for Canadian investors to access Brazilian business opportunities as well as a restructuring and turnaround boutique like 2B Brasil.
