GLENDORA, CA, June 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Byron Ramirez, Ph.D. (IP), MBA, MS, Vice president of BPM Advisors, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in leading teams and institutions towards continuous improvement.

An expert in business strategy management, Mr. Ramirez serves as the vice president of BPM Advisors, LLC. In this role, he leads the research and analysis group. He manages projects, staff and processes to develop strategic and operational solutions for clients. He utilizes 15 years of experience, ranging in performance, financial, and operations management, financial planning and budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis and mitigation, re-engineering analysis, implementation planning, and business development. Throughout his career, he has worked for Basin Water Inc, Lennar Corporation, Countrywide Financial Corporation, California Institute of Technology FCU, J.C. Penney Company, and World Vision International.

Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of La Verne in 2001 and a Master of Science in Advanced Management degree from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management in 2007. He obtained an Executive Management certification from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Presently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics and Political Science at the School of Politics and Economics at Claremont Graduate University.

A member of the American Management Association, Strategic Management Society, and National Society of Hispanic MBAs, he has received awards for his contributions to his local community. Mr. Ramirez has also volunteered with several organizations such as the March of Dimes, the American Red Cross, UNICEF, and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has served and continues to serve on a few alumni boards of local universities such as California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, University of La Verne, and the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. As a board member of these educational institutions, he has worked towards improving the students' learning experience and their ability to positively influence the lives of those in their communities. Moreover, he has been committed to strengthening the relationships between students, faculty, and alumni. Mr. Ramirez has also been a mentor to students at CSU Pomona, Claremont Graduate University, and the Drucker School. In addition to teaching these students about professional careers, industries, and organizations, he has tried to instill in them a sense of responsible citizenship as well as a commitment to making a difference.

In the near future, Mr. Ramirez intends to work for a think tank or international institution in the fields of international trade and development, and social development. In the long term, Mr. Ramirez would like to teach undergraduate and graduate students.
