CHEYNEY, PA, June 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Dr. Judith D. Ray, Associate Professor at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

Dr. Judith D. Ray is a respected authority on myriad subjects, foremost of which are biomechanics, recreational marketing, management and law. She has devoted most of her 32-year career to Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, where she teaches, conducts research, manages grant acquisitions, and counsels students. Dr. Ray considers staring down various obstacles to finally complete her Ph.D. - a feat that took no less than three decades - to be her proudest personal and professional accomplishment. She attributes her success to sheer tenacity.

A product of the University of Minnesota, Dr. Ray earned her Ph.D. in biomechanics in 1996. She also obtained a master's degree in biomechanics in 1976 from Washington State University and a master's degree in education in 1972 from Washington University. She aspires to go into business for herself within the next five years.
