Formerly, Dr. Francis spent 28 years employed by the Xerox Corporation in Canada, where he served as President and CEO. He attributes his success to his leadership skills and ability to implement the seven principles of good practice; putting customers first, ownership, passion, teamwork, integrity, speed and fun.

In 2008, Dr. Francis was conferred a Doctor of Laws. He is also the recipient of a Doctorate in Commerce. He serves on the board of directors and as a committee chairman for the Softchoice Corporation. In 2005, he was honored with a Technology Executive of the Year Award and the following year with a Stevie Ward Award. In the future, Mr. Francis hopes to write a book on his value-based experiences.
