Mary Chris Skeldon Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who
Skeldon has written speeches for two former mayors of Toledo, Ohio
TOLEDO, OH, July 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary C. Skeldon, Director of Communications for National Exchange Club, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in communications.
Ms. Skeldon is a communications professional with more than three decades of experience. During the course of her career, she has worked as the press secretary for Carleton S. Finkbeiner and Jack Ford, two former mayors of Toledo, Ohio. She was also a public relations manager for FLS Marketing for three years. Today, she plays an integral role as the director of communications for National Exchange Club, a service organization that strives to improve American communities. It works extensively to prevent child abuse and promote better parenting. Ms. Skeldon is tasked with the design and execution of the overall communications program for the National Exchange Club, which includes some 700 clubs and 22,000 members.
A graduate of the University of Toledo, Ms. Skeldon holds a bachelor's degree in communication and political science. In 2006, she was inducted into the Notre Dame Academy's Hall of Fame. She attributes her success to having an excellent education and remarkable opportunities for growth. Ms. Skeldon is a breast cancer survivor and serves on the board of directors of Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio. She also serves on the board of directors of Notre Dame Academy.
